Description
To all our readers,
I have just taken up the position as the new editor of the award-winning publication, Real Estate Investor Magazine, and what an honour it is. I intend to provide readers with the most up-to-date information on finance, property, investment and more. With my passion for writing and flair for creativity, I will ensure that each article will be tailored to provide practical insight for readers to apply in their daily lives. I look forward to the challenge.
With information at our fingertips and the age of digitalization taking over the world – we have revamped our website and will merge it with the magazine to provide easily accessible information to our readers.
The launch of our Reimag radio is an example, a podcast session hosted by Editor-in-Chief Neale Petersen, aiming to provide a valuable resource tool for education, information, advice and inspiration. Other implementations include our popular Facebook LIVE sessions.
In this month’s edition we sat down with Dr. Christo Wiese to gather insight into how he became a business legend and
billionaire. Another key focus for this month is sustainability, with 5 June 2019 marking World Earth Day. We look into the small and big changes we can make to our homes to generate a positive impact on the environment.
Delving into the web of technology, we uncovered a range of new and savvy devices to reduce energy use and increase safety. Eskom has not switched the lights off (just yet) but we have a detailed article on how to avoid payment problems with tenants – reducing uncertainty for both parties. Carlo Mariani, has us glued to the pages - with his tips on how to negotiate lobola, a uniquely South African perspective on property and how to get the best outcome from this type of deal.
Elian Wiener, founder of Wealthwoke proves that it’s never too early to start teaching your children about money and providing ‘healthy’ habits surrounding finances.
There is so much more to this month’s edition, grab a cup of coffee and get comfortable as we guarantee you a good read.
